1. Collection and usage of data
1.1 When visiting our website, our web servers temporarily record technical details of the device used to access our website, such as the browser type used, the operating system installed and device settings. In addition, we record your IP address and, if you have accessed our website from a device such as a mobile telephone, the Unique Device Identifier of your device. Further, our Web server collects certain data that is automatically transmitted by your Web browser.

1.2 Our website is an informational platform that we would like to use to answer your enquiries. 3. Disclosure of data to third parties
3.1 We transmit personal data collected in connection with the handling of orders and bookings to service providers who help us process your orders and bookings. In particular, this pertains to providers of credit card billing services, insofar as it is necessary to transmit the data for the purpose of payment processing. We work with the following companies in this regard: American Express International Inc. NL Deutschland, Theodor-Heuss-Allee 112, 60486 Frankfurt am Main, Germany (for AMEX cards); SIX Payment Services (Europe) S.A., Zweigniederlassung Deutschland, Dreieichstrasse 59, 60594 Frankfurt am Main, Germany (für Visa, MasterCard, Diners/Discover Card, JCB, CUP, Maestro and VPay cards).
3.2 When requesting our newsletters, your personal data may be transferred to one of our sister companies (Hotel Zur Tenne, Weinhandlung Gebrüder Volkhardt) if you have given consent.
4.1 Cookies are small and often encrypted text files that are stored in your browser directory. Cookies make it possible to identify you as a specific customer and to store both your personal preferences when using our website and technical information. The main benefit for you is that you do not have to enter the information contained in the cookies every time you visit our website. Cookies do not necessarily contain or reveal personal information. If, however, you enter personal information on our website, this may be associated with the data stored in the cookies. Operators of other websites, however, have no access to these files.
4.2 We also use Google Analytics on our website. This is a Web analysis service offered by Google Inc. that enables the generation of detailed statistics on website traffic and its sources. We use Google Analytics solely for statistical purposes, such as in order to track how many users have clicked on a particular item of product information. Google Analytics is based on cookies and records information about your use of our website including your IP address. To prevent users being identified by their IP addresses, we use a special code to ensure that your IP address is recorded solely in truncated and therefore anonymised form. It is no longer possible to identify individual users with this truncated IP address. The information recorded by Google Analytics is transmitted to Google Inc. based in the United States. Google is self-certified under the Privacy Shield to provide an adequate protection of your personal data under EU law. 5. Retention of data
We only store personal data for as long as it is necessary for the provision of the services you require.
5.1 Data collected while browsing our website and which may be legally considered personal data (such as the complete IP address) will be stored for a period of time of 14 days unless an exceptional event, such as after a hacker attack, requires a longer period of storage.
5.2 Personal data arising from a booking will be stored for the duration of maximum 10 years. In the case of a membership for the use of the Blue Spa, personal data will be saved until the end of the membership. Afterwards, the Spa membership agreements will be stored for 10 years. If you subscribe to a newsletter, corresponding data will be stored at least until you unsubscribe.
5.3 Data without personal references can be stored permanently.
6. Your rights
6.1 If you wish to view, delete, update or limit your personal data that we have collected via our website, you can contact us at any time by email or phone. You will find our contact details at the end of this Privacy Notice and in our legal notice. The same applies if you have any questions about the data we hold about you or the use thereof.
6.2 If you wish to have your data deleted, it will be erased immediately from our system unless we are obliged to continue storing it to comply with statutory retention periods. Under such circumstances, we will ensure that your data is prevented from being used for other purposes.
6.3 In addition, you may contact us at any time and object to the processing of personal data concerning you in justified cases. This applies in particular to the collection of your data for the statistical recording of our web users by Google Analytics as well as for advertising purposes.
6.4. If you have given consent to your personal data being used for advertising purposes, you may withdraw this consent at any time with future effect.
7. Links to other websites
Our website contains links to websites that are operated by third-party providers, including links to social networks such as Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. This Privacy Notice does not apply to the collection, processing and use of personal data by such third parties.
